Municipal Broadband Business Manager PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF JOB: This position serves as the business and operations manager for the City*s strategic broadband initiative.
As such the successful candidate will be responsible for managing roll out and expansion of the municipal fiber optic network, Internet Service Provider operations, customer service operations, and business development.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in a standard office environment.
Requires occasional attendance at evening meetings and supporting special project deadlines outside the normal workweek.
Some travel to off-site locations is required.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Services or a related field and 8 years* experience in complex project management, broadband marketing, sales and operations, implementation, network and systems management including 5 years progressively responsible leadership experience.
